The South Island (of New Zealand)
I like the South Island because of the ski fields in Queenstown. I also like Queenstown because you can go on the luge, the gondola, the Earnslaw and the bungy jumps. The sight seeing is amazing and lots of tourists visit.

South Otago. (our Province)
The hills are tall. The sea is sometimes calm. Plants grow all the year round. The rivers are long. The Highlanders sometimes play in Dunedin. They have Chinese restaurants for the people who like Chinese food. In town there are lots of cars. On the way to Dunedin there are lots of sheep. There are dairy products that are yummy. The Clutha river that runs through Balclutha (28 km away) is the longest river in New Zealand.

Milton (our town)
Milton is special because it is where we live or live close to. It is special because we go to Milton School. Milton is a very helpful community. Our town is a very safe town. Shop keepers are very very polite. Milton has lots of green grass around it, and paddocks (fields) nearby.

My Family
My family is special because of Mum and my Dad. They pay the bills and work for me so I can get toys. My brothers are special because they help me, when I'm hurt and they protect me. The most important thing is they love me. My pets are special because they tell me if someone is there by standing up. Then I have a look. My Mum is special because she takes me snow skiing. My Dad is special because he takes me to his work and gives me pens. Simon is special because he helps me do my times tables and he lets me play on his play station. Adam is special because he plays with me when I'm lonely. My dog is special because she jumps on the trampoline with me.
