Dear Richard and Class 6/1,

We got the Thailand words and they look really artistic. They taught room 8 a lot of interesting things. Thank you very much for giving the Thailand words to us to look at. Good work! It was very good writing and I really like your work. It looks really different in the Thai language. The Thai
language is so different to our letters.

from Abby and Alicia

Thanks for your useful responses to our questions. The class were amazed by the length of time you spend at school!

Hi! It's Shaye here. I am nine years old. I am the one with the striped top. We have been publishing those questions that we asked you. We are also writing the answer that you gave us. On Sunday there is going to be the final Super 12 rugby game. The Otago Highlanders are playing against the Canterbury Crusaders. Most of the school has worn blue and gold clothing and face paint to support our team. Otago Highlanders and Canterbury Crusaders are both from the South Island.

Hi it's Rebecca here. I am eight years old. I am the person who's sitting at the desk. My dad played for Otago when he was younger so I wore his rugby top. I am finishing my publishing work about the questions we sent over and we were putting the answers on them. I hope the Highlanders win because I live in Otago. The game is at Carisbrook, Dunedin. One of the Highlanders is going to have a party at Carisbrook. The rugby player that's going to have the party is Tony Brown. Well it's just a rugby game. All the tickets (40 000) are sold out. Talk to you soon. Bye.

Hi! I am the one in the green T-shirt called
Kingsley Baird. Shaye and I are on the Internet looking at a story character who is in the book that Mr Dodge is reading to us called The Hobbit. Bilbo is his name. This afternoon we are preparing for assembly. Our item is singing the Highlanders song. See-Ya
